THE GCC CSA WANTS TO INTRODUCE THE NEW COMMISSIONING MANAGEMENT GRADING SYSTEM - Commissioning Specialist Associaltion

The CSA committee members have recognised that the commissioning industry is more diverse in the day-to-day requirements for specialist engineers and commissioning managers and that the existing CSA grading system is weighted mechanically for commissioning engineers between grades 1 to 4, with the
previous requirements being that any Commissioning manager must have passed the Grade 4 exam prior to being offered a CSA grade 5 or 6.

Commissioning Managers or specialist engineers are welcome to apply for the new grading structure. Current CSA members can also apply to move over to the new structure if they are now a commissioning manager but you can also remain on the GT to G6 pathway if you wish.

However, please note if you are mainly still working in hands on commissioning you will remain on the current T to Grade 6 structure.

The new CSA Commissioning Managers Grades are:

  • CSA Commissioning Manager (CM1)
  • CSA Senior Commissioning Manager (CM2)
  • CSA Project Commissioning Manager (CM3)

You can download a copy of the application form and what is required to apply by visiting this link on the website:
